This policy explains how HALO Alpha, LLC collects, uses, and shares information in operating Avnamic, Aircraft Data Exchange (ADX), AvShopper, and related services. Avnamic is operated by HALO Alpha, LLC.

Information we collect

Accounts and organizations

We may collect names, email addresses, account credentials in protected form, profile information, organization details, roles, invitations, and verification status. General users may use services without belonging to an organization.

Purchases and transaction-time records

For account and guest purchases, we may collect contact information, an immutable buyer snapshot, order and fulfillment records, promotion or referral attribution, and transaction-time location information needed for tax treatment. Payment-card data is processed by payment providers such as Stripe; we do not need to store complete card numbers.

Aircraft and marketplace information

We may process aircraft identifiers, records, historical observations, listing information, seller-supplied content, and source and timing context. Some marketplace listings, comments, and aircraft information are intended to be public.

Communications and technical information

We collect communications sent to support and may process delivery events for transactional messages sent through providers such as Resend. Microsoft 365 supports business communications. We also collect limited technical and security information such as request time, IP address, browser or device information, session records, and security events.

Cookies and session mechanisms

Our applications may use cookies or similar mechanisms that are necessary for authentication, session security, request protection, and continuity of an action. The Avnamic public site does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party cookies.

How we use information

We use information to provide accounts, orders, digital delivery, aircraft research, marketplace and professional services; verify identity and email; secure services; prevent abuse; calculate authorized prices and taxes; administer promotions and referrals; communicate about transactions and support; maintain records; and comply with law.

How we share information

We may share information with service providers that support payment processing, transactional email, business communications, hosting, security, and other operations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transaction. We do not sell personal information for targeted advertising.

Public information

Information submitted for public marketplace listings or comments may be visible to others and may be retained with historical or version context. Do not submit sensitive personal information for public display.

Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including service delivery, transaction and fulfillment history, security, dispute handling, legal compliance, and preservation of aircraft or marketplace history. Retention periods vary by record and legal obligation.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and service. No system is completely secure. Keep credentials confidential and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Children

The services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your choices

Depending on the service and applicable law, you may update account information, manage communications, or request access, correction, or deletion. Some transaction, security, public-history, and legal records may need to be retained.

Third-party services

Links or integrations with third-party services are governed by those parties' own terms and policies. Their practices are not controlled by this policy.
