Aircraft Data Exchange

Aircraft Data Exchange, or ADX, is a shared aviation data platform designed to make aircraft information more consistent, accessible, and useful across the aviation industry.

ADX brings together aircraft records, historical observations, marketplace information, and participant-supplied data within a structured information system serving brokers, insurers, lenders, researchers, buyers, sellers, marketplaces, and other aviation professionals.

Rather than requiring participants to operate within a single marketplace or customer experience, ADX is being developed as common data infrastructure that aviation businesses can incorporate into their own workflows, websites, research tools, and services.

By reducing fragmented recordkeeping and improving the exchange of aircraft information, ADX is designed to help industry participants research aircraft, evaluate transactions, manage inventory, share authorized information, and make more efficient, informed decisions.

As participation and available information grow, each new authorized observation can contribute to a richer historical understanding of an aircraft while preserving important context about where information originated and when it was observed.

Our long-term goal is straightforward: make reliable, well-organized aircraft information easier for the aviation industry to use wherever aircraft decisions are being made.

AvShopper is a developing public-facing aircraft marketplace and research platform. It is designed to bring together aircraft listings, ADX Aircraft History Reports, marketplace discussion, and other tools useful to aircraft buyers, owners, sellers, and aviation businesses.
